於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

14 他 使 草 生 長 ， 給 六 畜 吃 ， 使 菜 蔬 發 長 ， 供 給 人 用 ， 使 人 從 地 裡 能 得 食 物 ，

15 又 得 酒 能 悅 人 心 ， 得 油 能 潤 人 面 ， 得 糧 能 養 人 心 。

14 You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth 15 and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart. – Psalm 104: 14~15

24 耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 所 造 的 何 其 多 ！ 都 是 你 用 智 慧 造 成 的 ； 遍 地 滿 了 你 的 豐 富 。

24 O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. – Psalm 104: 24

33 我 要 一 生 向 耶 和 華 唱 詩 ！ 我 還 活 的 時 候 ， 要 向 我 神 歌 頌 ！

34 願 他 以 我 的 默 念 為 甘 甜 ！ 我 要 因 耶 和 華 歡 喜 ！

33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. 34 May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord. – Psalm 104: 33, 34

44 他 將 列 國 的 地 賜 給 他 們 ， 他 們 便 承 巡 蛦 民 勞 碌 得 來 的 ，

45 好 使 他 們 遵 他 的 律 例 ， 守 他 的 律 法 。 你 們 要 讚 美 耶 和 華 ！

44 And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil, 45 that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the Lord! – Psalm 105: 44, 45
