於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

除了耶和華，誰是 神呢？除了我們的 神，誰是磐石呢？

惟有那以力量束我的腰、使我行為完全的，他是 神。

For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?— the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. – Psalm 18: 31, 32

你把你的救恩給我作盾牌；你的右手扶持我；你的溫和使我為大。

你使我腳下的地步寬闊；我的腳未曾滑跌。

You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip. – Psalm 18: 35, 36

他的量帶通遍天下，他的言語傳到地極。 神在其間為太陽安設帳幕；

Their voice [Or Their measuring line] goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, – Psalm 19: 4

耶和華的律法全備，能甦醒人心；耶和華的法度確定，能使愚人有智慧。

都比金子可羨慕，且比極多的精金可羨慕；比蜜甘甜，且比蜂房下滴的蜜甘甜。

The law of the Lord is perfect, [Or blameless] reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; … More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. – Psalm 19: 7, 10

誰能知道自己的錯失呢？願你赦免我隱而未現的過錯。

求你攔阻僕人不犯任意妄為的罪，不容這罪轄制我，我便完全，免犯大罪。

Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression. – Psalm 19: 12, 13

我們要因你的救恩誇勝，要奉我們 神的名豎立旌旗。願耶和華成就你一切所求的！

May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! – Psalm 20: 5
