於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

17 他 愛 咒 罵 ， 咒 罵 就 臨 到 他 ； 他 不 喜 愛 福 樂 ， 福 樂 就 與 他 遠 離 ！

17 He loved to curse; let curses come [Revocalization; Masoretic Text curses have come] upon him! He did not delight in blessing; may it be far [Revocalization; Masoretic Text it is far] from him! – Psalm 109: 17

30 我 要 用 口 極 力 稱 謝 耶 和 華 ； 我 要 在 眾 人 中 間 讚 美 他 ；

31 因 為 他 必 站 在 窮 乏 人 的 右 邊 ， 要 救 他 脫 離 審 判 他 靈 魂 的 人 。

30 With my mouth I will give great thanks to the Lord; I will praise him in the midst of the throng. 31 For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from those who condemn his soul to death. – Psalm 109: 30~31

3 當 你 掌 權 的 日 子 （ 或 譯 ： 行 軍 的 日 子 ） ， 你 的 民 要 以 聖 潔 的 妝 飾 為 衣 （ 或 譯 ： 以 聖 潔 為 妝 飾 ） ， 甘 心 犧 牲 自 己 ； 你 的 民 多 如 清 晨 的 甘 露 （ 或 譯 ： 你 少 年 時 光 耀 如 清 晨 的 甘 露 ） 。

3 Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, [Or on the day you lead your forces] in holy garments; [Masoretic Text; some Hebrew manuscripts and Jerome on the holy mountains] from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.
