於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

我 愛 耶 和 華 ， 因 為 他 聽 了 我 的 聲 音 和 我 的 懇 求 。

他 既 向 我 側 耳 ， 我 一 生 要 求 告 他 。

I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. – Psalm 116: 1, 2

我 拿 甚 麼 報 答 耶 和 華 向 我 所 賜 的 一 切 厚 恩 ？

What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits to me? … I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. – Psalm 116: 12, 17

萬 國 啊 ， 你 們 都 當 讚 美 耶 和 華 ！ 萬 民 哪 ， 你 們 都 當 頌 讚 他 ！

因 為 他 向 我 們 大 施 慈 愛 ； 耶 和 華 的 誠 實 存 到 永 遠 。 你 們 要 讚 美 耶 和 華 ！

Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! – Psalm 117: 1, 2

投 靠 耶 和 華 ， 強 似 倚 賴 人 ；

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. – Psalm 118: 8, 9

匠 人 所 棄 的 石 頭 已 成 了 房 角 的 頭 塊 石 頭 。

這 是 耶 和 華 所 定 的 日 子 ， 我 們 在 其 中 要 高 興 歡 喜  ！

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. [Hebrew the head of the corner] …  This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118: 22, 24
