September 23, 2020 | Dan Low | weekly prayer guide
In light of the ongoing current pandemic, the racial injustices along with its ensuing protests, the wildfires and hurricanes, the tremendous challenges with distance education, the economic uncertainty, and the upcoming presidential election, we praise God for always being accessible to us through prayer.
As a nation, we recognize the need to humble ourselves before the Lord, to confess our sins, and to pray for a lasting spiritual awakening. As a church family, we want to dedicate ourselves to interceding for one another as well as our nation for the next 40 days. Voluntarily and periodically giving up a meal (or something else that we value) indicates our greater hunger for God and for his will to be done on earth just as it is in heaven.
Knowing that the Lord is near and that the days are evil, we want to make the most of this opportunity to approach his throne of grace for mercy and help in our time of need. We would love for you to join our church over the course of these 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting for our Nation.
